As we move toward 2011, we come to realize over the past 35+ years, the best way to do anything correctly is start early!

I think the older we get the more that is true as well.  And with the technology of 2008 as we start this quest, we're hoping to find more "lost" classmates than ever before!

Speaking of "technology"... here I sit typing a BLOG.  By definition.. yes I really looked this up.. a BLOG is A frequent, chronological publication of personal thoughts and Web links.  It's short for WEBLOG.  Neither words of course would have been ever discussed in Mrs. McDougal's class.

A blog is often a mixture of what is happening in a person's life and what is happening on the Web, a kind of hybrid diary/guide site, although there are as many unique types of blogs as there are people.

So this dear friends, will be the BLOG of the life of Memorial Class of 1971.  
You can help make it more interesting if you participate as well.  We this to be a place where anyone from our class can open discussions, make suggestions for Reunion 2011 to make it better... pretty much whatever is on the mind of the class.

But we do ask that you refrain from sales pitches, religious or political statements, and all that junk that can cause negative reactions in others with differing opinions.  Keep in clean, keep it fun.. and let's pretend we're YOUNG again and blog!  :-)
